About the Pilatus PC-12
The Pilatus PC-12 is a single-engine pressurized turboprop from Switzerland, known for its large cabin, big rear cargo door and ability to use short and unpaved runways. It is flown by owner-pilots, corporate flight departments, charter operators and air ambulance services, which keeps resale demand strong.
The PC-12 NG (introduced in 2008) brought a more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engine and the Honeywell Primus Apex flight deck. The PC-12 NGX that followed uses the PT6E engine with electronic propeller and engine control, larger cabin windows and an updated interior and avionics.
