About the Cirrus SR20
The Cirrus SR20 is the four-cylinder member of the Cirrus family: a composite four- or five-seat airplane with side-stick controls, a glass cockpit and the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). It is widely used by flight schools and by owners who want a modern, comfortable airplane with lower running costs than the SR22.
Earlier SR20s use a 200-horsepower Lycoming engine; the G6 version introduced in 2017 moved to a 215-horsepower engine with more payload and better climb. Like the SR22, most aircraft from 2008 on have the Garmin-based Cirrus Perspective avionics.
What to Check When Buying a Used Cirrus SR20
- CAPS parachute repack and rocket motor dates, due on a ten-year cycle.
- Engine hours since overhaul and how the aircraft was used: flight-school aircraft see more cycles.
- Avionics generation, ADS-B, WAAS and database status.
- Composite airframe condition and any damage history.
- Complete logbooks, ideally with Cirrus service center maintenance.

02Description
Coast Aircraft Sales is offering N526CM as an exclusive opportunity to acquire a genuinely low-time 2005 Cirrus SR20 G2 at a price that reflects its current condition and documentation profile.
N526CM is being offered on behalf of the family of its late owner. The plane has been sitting since his passing, which is the primary reason the historical records are limited and the annual inspection is not currently active.
With approximately 640 hours total time, N526CM still has strong underlying potential for the right buyer. A condition inspection was completed on August 11, 2026 by an FAA-licensed A&P/IA, and a current discrepancy list is available for review. Recent compression results were strong across all six cylinders, and available maintenance documentation includes prior annual and inspection records.
N526CM is equipped with an Avidyne Entegra glass flight deck, dual Garmin GNS 430-series GPS/NAV/COM units, S-TEC autopilot, and Garmin GDL 82 ADS-B Out. The interior and exterior present well overall for age, and the wheel pants are included with the sale.
Historical logbook records are limited/incomplete. N526CM is therefore being offered as-is, with an independent prebuy inspection welcomed and encouraged.
This is not being positioned as a turnkey retail SR20. It is a rare low-time opportunity for an experienced Cirrus owner, mechanic, or knowledgeable buyer who understands the value of a fundamentally attractive airframe, strong recent inspection data, and the ability to complete the remaining work on their own terms.
Priced accordingly for a straightforward, informed transaction.

Historical logbook records are limited/incomplete, and all available records will be provided for buyer review.
N526CM is being offered as-is with an independent prebuy inspection welcomed. Wheel pants are included with the sale but are currently removed, as shown in the listing photos. Buyer may elect to have them installed during the prebuy inspection.
A strong opportunity for an experienced Cirrus owner, mechanic, or buyer comfortable completing their own due diligence and bringing the plane fully back into service. With the right inspection and straightforward cosmetic/mechanical attention, N526CM has the potential to be a very attractive low-time SR20 value play.

Continental IO-360-ES, 200 HP. On August 11, 2026, 526CM underwent a condition inspection by an FAA-licensed A&P/IA, who reviewed the plane and documented a list of discrepancies for buyer review. Cylinder compression readings at that inspection were #1 72/80, #2 78/80, #3 74/80, #4 75/80, #5 73/80, and #6 76/80. Available June 2023 maintenance documentation also reflects strong hot compression readings. Due to limited historical records, engine time basis and overhaul history should be independently verified during prebuy. The recent inspection findings and discrepancy list will be made available, giving a knowledgeable buyer a clear starting point to evaluate this low-time SR20 opportunity.
